John
John began his carpentry career as an apprentice on Longford Estate in 1972 where he learnt his craft for 4 years. After several years employed in general building as a carpenter, he joined a small building firm for 13 years, which was run by an architect. Over this time, he absorbed a wealth of construction knowledge from his boss who ultimately became his colleague and business partner. They then found their niche in the market for creating and installing kitchens that needed a little more planning and construction than your average. John then spent the next 20 years working as a project/installations manager for different kitchen & bathroom companies around Salisbury. After the 2009 recession John decided he wanted more control over his projects so took the leap to start designing and supplying his own kitchens & bathrooms. With a successful couple of year sunder his belt the next step was to open a showroom, which he did in 2011. At this point his eldest daughter Megan decided she wanted to commit to a life in the industry.
Megan
With years of joining John in the van on a Saturday as a child, Megan was no stranger to the industry. After her A levels she was unsure whether university was the right fit so John offered her a job helping on site, whilst she worked out what to do. Simon took her under his wing as an apprentice tiler, luckily Simon is still part of the team to this day so you don’t have to worry about Megan’s handy work (she’s good at picking them, just not sticking them)! She started to help John with the kitchen and bathroom designs and immediately fell in love with the process. After learning CAD Megan developed her skills as a designer, focusing on product quality and innovations. 13 years later she is still passionate about her work and loves helping people create spaces they enjoy.
Team
John and Megan can’t do it alone, they also have Trevor and Simon to see your projects through. Trevor is a skilled carpenter who has worked on high end projects for the past 30 years and has been a crucial part of our team for the past 4 years. Trevor has fantastic attention to detail he also really cares that people are happy with the work and will go above and beyond to ensure everything is carried out to the highest standard. Simon the superb tiler, with his youth spent gaining experience from tiling cruise ships, he’s been working with John for the past 20 years. His skills don’t stop at tiling he’s trained decorator and floor layer, an invaluable member of the team who specialises in the finishing touches.

We have just had two bathrooms gutted, redesigned and refitted by John and his team and the experience has been excellent from the design stage right through to implementation. We now have two beautiful bathrooms and the plumbing has been completely overhauled and works way better than before.
